At the summary and evaluation session of the “Training program and implementation of potential solutions to build safe, clean, green schools that are resilient and adaptable to climate change”, Duc Tri School was awarded Second Prize with the meaningful project “School without single-use plastic waste”.

The training program and implementation of potential solutions to build safe, clean, green, resilient and adaptive schools to climate change is an activity within the cooperation program between the Da Nang City Youth Union and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF Vietnam) to build a green, clean and safe education system for all children, raising awareness and participation of children in climate action.


24 project teams from secondary and high schools in Da Nang were supported by experts in planning skills, teamwork, project presentation... and knowledge about climate change, environmental protection...
Immediately after that, the teams will start implementing project ideas on building Green Schools, combating climate change from the school environment with the support and companionship of experts and implementing environmental activities in the classroom, school...


With a creative and responsible spirit, Duc Tri students have come up with solutions to reduce plastic waste at school by organizing propaganda sessions, promoting the use of environmentally friendly recycled products, implementing recycled fashion projects, etc., contributing to building a green - clean - safe school environment. The Second Prize awarded by the Organizing Committee to the project "School without single-use plastic waste" is a recognition of the meaning and practical value of the project.
