Towards the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2017), Duc Tri Kindergarten - Primary and Secondary School organized many meaningful and practical activities, helping students understand more about the historical traditions of our nation as well as about December 22 every year.
The students visited the Military Zone 5 Museum and the Ho Chi Minh Museum of the Military Zone 5 branch. Here, they learned more about Uncle Ho, such as where he was born, his childhood home, his life and revolutionary activities, and saw with their own eyes the stone table at Lenin stream where he worked, Uncle Ho's stilt house and fish pond along with very simple items associated with the image of beloved Uncle Ho. In particular, the Command Board of the Union represented the students of Duc Tri School to visit and congratulate the soldiers living and working at Radar Station 29 of Regiment 290 on Son Tra peak. This is a radar station whose mission is to patrol and guard the sky over the entire East Sea, promptly detect and respond to acts of airspace violation, violation of territorial sovereignty, and at the same time guide Vietnamese military aircraft when flying over the central region's airspace.
The activities towards the 73rd anniversary of December 22 this year not only help students understand more about the historical traditions of the nation, but also learn about the difficult and arduous lives of the people who are currently protecting the homeland, bringing them a peaceful life. From there, educate them about love for their homeland and country, inspire thoughts about career orientation, and encourage them to be inspired by meaningful jobs in the future.
