Towards the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2022) and the 33rd anniversary of National Defense Day, Duc Tri School students actively carried out many meaningful activities to show gratitude and follow the example of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
December always has a sacred meaning for every Vietnamese person. 78 years ago, on December 22, 1944, the Vietnam People's Army was officially founded. Since then, the Vietnamese military has continuously won many great victories in wars, bringing independence and peace to the nation. After all these years, the Vietnamese military has maintained the heroic tradition of its ancestors, continued to promote noble virtues, and contributed to the construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Following the example of the soldier - Duc Tri students do many good things
Although it is the time for the first semester final exam and evaluation, Duc Tri students are still very active in participating in programs and activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
In early December, the students of class 1/4 successfully organized a lesson called “Training the soldier’s manners”. Although they were only young students, they played the role of a successor generation very well when they directly evaluated, praised, criticized, and voted on each other. At the end of the lesson, they also prepared paintings and poems to send to the soldier with lots of love and gratitude.
In particular, on December 19, 2022, Duc Tri School organized a meeting to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army with many meaningful contents. The students learned about the legend of the 10 girls at Dong Loc crossroads, performed performances praising the homeland and soldiers. Also during the meeting, Meritorious Teacher Le Thi Nga - Principal of the school presented the students with a singing and dancing performance "Far Away Land" in collaboration with Mr. Thanh Son and Ms. Ha Ni. The combination of music and emotions brought an extremely sacred and meaningful atmosphere to Duc Tri School.
In addition, many lessons of the classes are also integrated by teachers with educational content about the example of Uncle Ho's soldiers, helping students have more motivation to continue to make every effort to study well. Typical examples include the lesson "My beloved book page" of class 2/1; the experience and practice activities of making guns and tanks of the preschoolers...
Education from the most familiar stories. That has been applied in the lessons and activities of Duc Tri students this December. Through each lesson, students understand more about the glorious history of the nation, the noble sacrifices of previous generations. From there, fostering love for the homeland helps students strive to study for a prosperous and strong future of the country.

Journey to the source
In addition to the classroom hours, in December, Duc Tri students also had many practical and meaningful activities in the journey to the source program. On December 14, representatives of students in the whole school visited, presented gifts and wished good health to the Command - Naval Region 3. Here, the students were introduced to the historical traditions of the unit as well as visited the agencies and ships of Region 3. This was also an opportunity for students to express their love, respect and gratitude to the naval soldiers through special gifts prepared by them.
Also on this occasion, primary school students visited and gave gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Mot at 01 Trinh Cong Son, Hoa Cuong Nam, Hai Chau, Da Nang.
Through these activities, the school hopes to help students appreciate the good things in their current lives, be grateful and remember the contributions of previous generations who sacrificed to build and protect the country. That is also the educational goal and core value of Duc Tri School: Cultivating Morality - Intelligence - Willpower.
