What is teaching method innovation?
Teaching method innovation is the process of shifting from content-based education programs to competency-based programs. In other words, it focuses on what students can apply through learning instead of what they learn. These methods help students develop their creativity and express themselves more.
There are many ways to apply innovative teaching methods. However, the use of methods must be closely linked to appropriate forms of teaching organization. Some forms can be mentioned such as: individual learning, group learning; learning in class, learning outside class... Regardless of the form, it is necessary to ensure the principle: "Students complete cognitive tasks on their own with the organization and guidance of teachers".

Duc Tri innovates teaching methods through Experience - Creativity Festival
Recently, the Experience - Creativity Festival was one of the first "shots" for a series of major festival events in 2023. This is a large-scale intellectual, experiential and creative playground for students of Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary schools. Combining learning, playing and competing, the festival is an open classroom where all students can participate in showing their talents.
The hand that creates the source of all good things
After the process of brainstorming, testing, creating, designing and perfecting the product, the Duc Tri Golden Bees have “launched” a collection of impressive STEM products. More than 100 models have been made from familiar recycled materials by the hands of the students. Some impressive products include: Flood-proof house model, Automatic water mill, Water purifier, Soundproof house... Along with quality products, the students also brought impressive presentations to the competition. Thereby, they can practice their thinking, communication and confidence in front of a crowd.
Get closer to the amazing world of astronomy
With the companionship and guidance of the Da Nang Astronomy Club (DAC), students were able to observe the sky through many types of telescopes. They tried their hand at shooting water rockets as well as exploring constellations in the universe. Through this, they learned more about the close relationship between astronomy and physics. As well as arousing their passion for this field of science.
Innovating teaching methods from intellectual playgrounds
The Golden Bell, The Champion's Talent, and The King of the Keyboard are challenging playgrounds that leave many emotions for the festival. If one side is the arena of elite minds facing countless difficult questions. Then the other side is the playground of skillful fingers dancing on the keyboard. Different rules, different ways of playing. But the talent and acumen of the Golden Bees are the common points that create the explosion of the competitions.
Promote foreign language skills and artistic creativity
At the “Bilingual Narrator” contest, the Golden Bee students from the Primary and Secondary School brought engaging stories and presentations. The Primary School students were able to showcase both their acting and storytelling abilities with meaningful stories. The Secondary School students had the opportunity to demonstrate their professional presentation skills.
In the art area, familiar topics in life have been vividly recreated through talented brush strokes. Each painting is a window to the soul, expressing diverse perspectives of childhood. In each brush stroke, you have sent messages and beautiful dreams of your own. In addition, the diversity in materials has also been exploited. Creating a collection of paintings with high aesthetic quality, leaving many impressions on viewers.

With many diverse themes, booths and experience areas, the Experience - Creativity festival brought many interesting experiences. The Golden Bee students both studied and played, clearly developing their personal abilities. With the criterion of "no student is left behind", the festival is also a place for the Golden Bee students to explore themselves and find suitable career orientations in the future.

Innovation in teaching methods is no longer a new story. At Duc Tri, teaching methods in the form of group discussions; experiential learning through role-playing and games; learning from reality through talkshows, workshops, picnics, summer camps, and festivals have been implemented annually.
