A month has passed since the start of the new school year, but perhaps, in each of our hearts, we still feel the pain of seeing students from remote and disadvantaged areas happily going to school in difficult circumstances. Every new school year comes, while students across the country are enjoying the joy, there are still many children from rural families, families facing many difficulties in life, who do not have the conditions to continue going to school.
With the theme of the school year “Give love – Receive happiness”", the school wishes to bring to the Golden Bees the seeds of love and sharing. This is one of the things that helps children perfect their personalities and become happy citizens. And the program "Sowing the seeds of love - Helping children go to school" is the most practical action that the school and the children have carried out together in the first month of this new school year. The program is a bridge connecting the hearts of Duc Tri students and teachers to the disadvantaged children at Lien Xa Chanh Cong Primary School, Phuoc Son District, Quang Nam Province.
On the loving bus from Da Nang to Phuoc Son, the teachers felt happier and prouder than ever. Because this special bus not only carried material gifts but also contained the love of the students and parents of the whole school. After more than 4 hours of traveling through the bumpy, muddy roads left by storm No. 4, the fatigue seemed to be erased by the innocent eyes and innocent smiles of the students here.
Nearly 1,600 new textbooks, more than 1,000 notebooks, and 100 sets of school supplies followed the teachers of Duc Tri School to the students at 2 schools of Lien Xa Chanh Cong Primary School, Phuoc Son District on October 5. In addition, the school also awarded 10 "Helping you go to school" scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and achieved good academic results at schools in the commune. These gifts are the result of the joint efforts of all Ong Vang students, parents, and teachers of Duc Tri School, each person a little "making a storm".
After the gift-giving ceremony, Duc Tri teachers also had the opportunity to participate in activities, visit the students' dining and sleeping areas and organize some bonding games. Witnessing the students do everything by themselves, from cooking, washing dishes, and arranging things, we can see how hard they work, and how circumstances have trained them to be more mature than their age.
No matter what we do, who we become, or how successful we become, the ultimate goal in life is happiness. Let’s use our warm, loving, compassionate hearts to love those around us. When we do meaningful things, each of us will feel happy, because “love is the substance that creates happiness”.
Thank you for the good karma and loving hearts that have connected teachers, students and parents of Duc Tri School to bring meaningful gifts to those in difficult circumstances who need help. Through this activity, the school also hopes to foster more love and sharing with Duc Tri Golden Bees, so that they can appreciate the good things in everyday life more, and know how to sympathize and share with those around them. That is also the spirit of the 2022-2023 school year – “Give love – Receive happiness”" that the school wants to spread in Duc Tri students.
