Amidst the cold winds of winter, somewhere people still see images that are "emotional" enough to warm hearts.
On the recent “Spring of Love” trip, I had the opportunity to accompany the teachers of Duc Tri School on a trip to bring warmth to Nam Tra My High School. Through my lens, I was fortunate to admire many beautiful images that I call “warmth from the hands”.

From hand to hand
A day before the program, the loving gifts were neatly arranged by Duc Tri students. Everyone wanted the warm blankets and new clothes to reach the Nam Tra My High School students safely and beautifully.
I saw the images of small students, some carrying, some hugging, some carrying, each with a task, urgent and enthusiastic. The smiles were clearly visible on their pretty faces, like the rays of spring sunshine warming a corner of the sky.
Traveling more than 160km from Da Nang to Nam Tra My, the gifts were once again cherished by the hands of the students here. I felt so much love when I saw the slim students carefully moving each bag, no matter how heavy or tired they were, they were always happy and enthusiastic. Those images are extremely precious.
From hand to hand, that is what I saw on my recent trip. The invisible thread of love has connected strangers together. The hands have shortened the geographical distance, bringing a warm winter, a spring of love to both the giver and the receiver.
Great spiritual values
500 warm coats and 500 warm blankets are gifts created from the savings of Duc Tri School students. Duc Tri students bring here the warmth of love and from this program, the students will not only learn lessons about love and sharing but also lessons about the will to live. That is the courageous spirit to overcome circumstances, overcome all difficulties and deprivation to find the way to read and write of the students in the highlands.
As Meritorious Teacher Le Thi Nga - Principal of the school also shared in the program. The students of Nam Tra My High School have brought us joy, passed on to us the fires to warm us in the winter, dispelling the fatigue and cold of the long journey. That is the motivation for Duc Tri teachers to continue with the next "Spring of Love" journeys.
At the end of the program "Spring of Love 2023", what kept us all together was not the promises of studying hard. It was the affectionate, bright eyes of the Nam Tra My students, as if wanting to tell Duc Tri teachers to come back here soon. It was the lingering handshakes and happy smiles of the teachers of Nam Tra My High School in the moment of saying goodbye to the returning group. Those feelings can only be witnessed to fully understand all the feelings, no lens can fully describe them.
I once heard a very good saying of Poet To Huu: "Living is giving, not just receiving for oneself." Perhaps there is nothing more appropriate than borrowing this saying to conclude the recent "Spring of Love" trip.
