Summer at Duc Tri is not simply a break after a school year, but a colorful journey of experience, where students can freely create, explore and grow in their own way. The 2025 summer workshop series with diverse activities such as "Blowing the soul of wood and stone", "Dream kite", "Love tumbler" and "Bubble racing" has opened up inspiring learning spaces, helping students not only learn through books but also learn with their hands, with their hearts and with the simple things around them.

With the workshop “Blowing soul into wood and stone”, seemingly lifeless pebbles and pieces of wood become vivid paintings bearing the personal imprint of each child. No two works are alike, because each child is a separate world, with a very unique perspective and emotions. From there, students learn to observe, imagine and express themselves – core competencies that nurture the artistic soul and creative spirit.

Continuing that soaring journey is “Dream Kite”, where small hands draw dreams and send them to the sky. On the pure white background of each kite, you draw the radiant sunlight, floating clouds, free birds, or even cats, rabbits, superheroes, fairies… Each kite is a separate world, lively, bright and full of emotions. When the kite flies, it carries small dreams flying in the blue sky.

Creativity continued to be stimulated through the “Bubble Car Racing” workshop, where children enthusiastically tried their hand at homemade cars powered by… a balloon. Using only simple materials, the children designed, assembled and tested the car together to make it run the farthest and fastest. The activity brought not only laughter, but also gentle lessons about teamwork, patience and creativity every time the car “went off course” and was adjusted.

Workshop “Love tumbler” is a fun and familiar world for children in grades 1 and 2. The adorable animal-shaped tumblers can shake without falling, making them extremely excited. Without focusing on knowledge, this gentle activity leads children to get acquainted with interesting phenomena in life, while also arousing love when they create small, lovely gifts for friends and relatives, as a way to share their joy and feelings.

The activities in the summer workshop series are not just individual experiences, but are designed as harmonious pieces in the comprehensive educational picture that Duc Tri pursues: developing thinking - skills - emotions; nurturing students' intelligence and personality through each practical experience. Each workshop is an opportunity for students to learn how to be creative, collaborate, understand and mature. The learning space at Duc Tri is not limited by a blackboard or white chalk, but is as open as the blue sky, where each student can fly high in their own way.

For Duc Tri, summer is not only a time to relax but also a time when each pair of small hands can touch the world, feel the joy of learning and create “miracles” with their own hands. Each workshop is a door that opens to the imagination, a place to sow the seeds of creativity and love. And from there, the children grow up every day, not in a hurry but naturally, like sunlight filtering through the leaves, like a kite swaying in the wind, like laughter ringing out in the middle of a brilliant summer full of memories.
