Building a comprehensive educational environment, Duc Tri always focuses on practical education in addition to teaching culture, knowledge and extracurricular activities, experiences at the school's practice garden are always interested and loved by students.
Last week, the teachers organized a trip for the first grade Ong Vang students to the practical garden to participate in the experience of harvesting agricultural products. From early morning, before the bus had even started, the students were extremely excited because it had been a long time since they had returned to the beloved Duc Tri practical garden. The joy and excitement were evident on their faces, and their laughter echoed throughout the journey.

It's been a long time since Duc Tri's practice garden welcomed the Golden Bees back.
In March, the weather is mild, the practical garden is also full of vegetables that are ready for harvest. After being guided by teachers, the students also began to transform into little farmers, pulling potatoes, picking eggplants, harvesting cabbage, chayote, etc.

Listen to the teacher's instructions to prepare to harvest the crops.
Today, the sweet potato fields are filled with Duc Tri green shirts and cheerful voices. The "little farmers" holding baskets, trays, etc. are excitedly digging the soil and pulling out the sweet potatoes. With the help of the teachers and staff at the practice garden, the children had a bumper day with baskets full of sweet potatoes after hours of hard work.

You are pleased with the results
After a period of cultivation and care, the eggplant garden was full of fruit. After being introduced and instructed, the little Yellow Bees began harvesting the eggplants. All the children were extremely happy and could not hide their excitement and enthusiasm for this job.

Let's go pick eggplants

After a bumper crop of eggplants, the “little farmers” continued to harvest cabbages. The lush green cabbage garden with big, round cabbages was ready to be harvested. Today, for the first time, the children were able to pull the cabbages out of the ground and learn how farmers harvest their crops. This will surely be an interesting experience that books cannot bring to the children.

First time pulling cabbage by hand

Let's show off our results!

Bring home today's harvest.
At the end of the day of learning and experiencing at the practice garden, each child has a gift from the garden to bring home. Some have potatoes, some have eggplants, some have cabbages. These are the results and efforts of the children after a hard but effective day of work. The trip to harvest agricultural products at the practice garden of the Grade 1 Golden Bees is not only an interesting practical learning experience but also educates the children about gratitude to nature, gratitude to the aunts and uncles who have planted and taken care of the garden and this trip will certainly leave many memorable memories in the journey of growing up and maturing of each child.
