Cabbage Harvest Trip of Duc Tri Kindergarten's Golden Bees

Every year, during the winter-spring vegetable season, the principal's garden is lush with many kinds of vegetables: lettuce, cabbage, squash, pumpkin, chayote, beans, eggplant, mustard greens...
Among vegetables, cabbage is the most difficult to grow because the central climate is not suitable due to the lack of cold winters. But her garden has cabbage every year because her father is a very good grower.
This year, remembering her father, she planted a bed of cabbage late. It was late because cabbage is usually sown from October to November, but this year she did not sow until December because of heavy rains that flooded the fields.
She learned how to take care of cabbage from her father. In addition to fertilizing and watering, she had to catch worms (not spray pesticides) because cabbage had a lot of worms. To catch cabbage worms, the teachers had to go to the garden from dawn, look for the worm droppings around the base of the plant, and use a small stick to dig up the soil, and somehow they would catch the gray-black worm. The type of worm that eats cabbage is usually a soil worm, which usually eats at night, and during the day it burrows into the ground to find a place to hide, so we had to wake up early to catch it before it had time to burrow deep into the ground… Thanks to that, today our class got to go to the ecological garden to harvest the cabbage plants that the teachers had planted and fertilized… for 3 months. We love the teachers so much.
We harvested the cabbage ourselves, peeled off the old leaves, separated the young green leaves and washed them. She ground the meat for us, so we made cabbage rolls with her. The freshly picked cabbage was really sweet, and we made the dish ourselves, so it was delicious. The gift from the garden for mom was a jar of kimchi and cabbage rolls, mom would be very happy and love you guys very much.
